The definition states that a quadrilateral that is circumscribed in a circle is called a cyclic quadrilateral. It means that all the four vertices of the quadrilateral lie on the circumference of the circle.

  • In a cyclic quadrilateral, the opposite angles add up to 180°.
  • It has all 4 vertices on a circle.
  • It's sometimes referred to as an inscribed quadrilateral.
  • A circumcircle also called a circumscribed circle that contains all of the vertices of any polygon on its perimeter.
