What are localised resources?

Open in App
Solution

Localised resources are unevenly distributed across the globe, they are highly concentrated in particular locations or specific areas. For example, in India Gold resources are not found everywhere; they are concentrated in particular locations like Kolar gold fields. Resources that are found everywhere are called ubiquitous resources. Air, water, food, plants, animals, minerals, metals, and everything else that exists in nature and has utility to mankind is a ‘Resource’.
