Solution

Determining the parts of a circle.

The circle is a 2-dimensional shape formed by all points in a plane that are at a particular distance from a fixed point called the center.

Different Parts or terminology of the circle are shown below:

Different Parts or terminology of the circle are defined below:

Centre: A stationary point in the circle from where the distance of each point on the circle is the same.

Radius: Radius is the constant distance between the center and any point in the circle.

Circumference: A circumference of a circle is the distance around it.

Chord: The chord is a line segment that connects any two points on the circumference of a circle. The circle may include many chords.

Diameter: The chord going through the center of the circle is called the diameter, and it is the circle's longest chord.

Secant: A secant line is a line that crosses a circle at two points on its circumference.

Tangent: Tangent is a special type of secant to the circle is a line that touches the circle at a single point. The point is called the point of tangency

Arc: The arc is defined as a portion of the circle's circumference.

Sector: The sector of a circle is the region encompassed by two radii and an arc of a circle.

Segment: The circle segment is a section of a circle bordered by a chord and an arc.

Hence, A center, radius, diameter, circumference, arc, area, chord, secant, tangent, sector, and segments all are components of a circle.
