Solution

Dicot seed:

  1. Dicot seeds are those that have embryonic leaves and two cotyledons.
  2. Bitter gourd seed, mango seed, papaya seed, etc. are a few examples.

Embryo:

  1. Early multicellular organism development is referred to as an embryo.
  2. In the case of plants, the embryonal axis and cotyledons make up the protected embryo inside the seed (one in the case of monocot seed and two in the case of dicot seed).

The various parts of the embryo of a dicot seed include:

  1. Radicle - The plant's developing root, known as a radicle, extends downward into the ground.
  2. Plumule - The rudimentary shoot or stem of an embryo plant.
  3. Cotyledon-It is an embryonic leaf in plants that produce seeds, one or more of which are the first leaves to emerge from a sprouting seed.
  4. Epicotyl-It is the area of a seedling's or embryo's stem above the cotyledon.
  5. Hypocotyl -It is the stem of a germinating seedling, located above the radicle and below the cotyledons.
  6. Seed coat-It is the outermost covering of the seed.
  7. Hilum-The growing seeds were linked to the fruit through a scar on the seed coat known as the hilum.
  8. Micropyle -It is a minute opening in the integument of an ovule of a seed plant.
