Larynx:

It is the hollow tube, which connects the pharynx (throat) to the rest of the respiratory system.

Bronchi:

They are the two large tubes, which carry air from the windpipe to the lungs.

Trachea:

  1. It is the airway, which leads from the voice box or larynx to the bronchi. It is also known as the windpipe.
  2. It is a tubular composition, of about 2.5 cm in thickness and 12 cm in length.

The association between larynx and bronchi:

  1. The trachea associates the larynx with the bronchi.
  2. It begins posterior to the larynx and elongates into the center of the thoracic cavity, where it is differentiated into the right and left primary bronchi.
