Value of a fraction if the denominator decreased.

When the fraction's denominator is reduced but the numerator remains constant. The value of the fraction then rises.

Example:

Let's say a fraction is 105, where the numerator is 10 and the denominator is 5.

The value of the fraction is, 105=2

Now denominator is decreased to 4 and keep the numerator unchanged.

The value of the fraction is,104=2.5

Hence, the value of the fraction increases , when the denominator is decreased and the numerator is constant.
