Frictional force:

  1. Frictional force is the force created when two surfaces come into contact as well as slide against themselves. Whenever the aspect of one item gets into interaction with the surface of another, friction occurs.
  2. Friction diminishes a machine's significant advantage (mechanical), or, in other words, the output-to-input proportion.
  3. Example: Friction reduction consumes one-quarter of an automobile's energy and the friction inside the clutch that permits the car to drive.

Therefore, the force that prevents one solid item from slipping or rolling over another.
