Inverse proportion:

When the value of one quantity decreases with respect to an increase in value of another quantity or vice-versa, then they are said to be inversely proportional. It is a relationship between two variables such that the product of these two variables is a constant value

i.e. if ab=k, then a and bare said to vary inversely.

For example:If we increase the speed of the car, then the time is taken to reach the destination decreases.
