Solution

Non-cohesive soil:

  1. Non-cohesive soils are inorganic soils with granular properties, meaning the grains stay separate from one another and do not form clods or clumps of particles.
  2. The size of the particles ranges from 0.08 mm to 200 mm.
  3. As grains are larger in size, the flow of water within the soil is higher.
  4. Water retention capacity is less.
