Slime moulds:

  1. Slime moulds (or slime moulds) were previously classified as a fungus, but are now classified as Protista along with other unicellular and tiny multicellular eukaryotic creatures.
  2. Protostelia (miniature, simple slime moulds), Acrasia (cellular slime moulds), Plasmodiophorina (parasitic slime moulds), and Labyrinthulina are all slime moulds (net slime molds).

Water moulds:

  1. Water mould is a fungus-like order consisting of approximately 150 filamentous fungi.
  2. Water moulds can be found in both fresh and brackish water, as well as moist soil.
