Question

What is the condition for parallel lines?

Open in App
Solution

Determine the condition for parallel lines.

Property of parallel lines:

Lines which are parallel to the same line are also parallel to each other. Its property applies to more than two lines as well.

Non-intersecting or parallel lines are those that do not intersect. They are always exactly the very same distance apart. Therefore as result, they never meet. Assume you're given a line A that's parallel to another line. There is another parallel line B to the same line.

Hence, When transversal cuts two straight lines and the pair of alternative angles are equal, the two straight lines are parallel to each other. When both internal angles should be on the same side of the traversals, the two straight lines are parallel.
