Solution

Difference between negative acceleration and deceleration:

DecelerationNegative acceleration
1.Deceleration occurs when a resultant force acts on an object in the opposite direction in which it is moving. If in a chosen coordinate system, the direction of acceleration is towards negative axis then the object is said to have a negative acceleration.
2.Deceleration reduces speed, i.e. the magnitude of velocity. The magnitude of velocity increases in the direction of negative axis for an object under negative acceleration
