Step 2:Maximum resistance is obtained when resistors are connected in series: Net resistance is given by

Rnet=R1+R2+R3+R4+R5

Substitute 15Ω for R1, 15Ω for R2, 15Ω for R3, 15Ω for R4 and 15Ω for R5 in net resistance expression.

Rnet=15Ω+15Ω+15Ω+15Ω+15Ω=1Ω
