Blood pressure:

  1. The force that is experienced by the blood on the walls of the arteries is termed blood pressure.
  2. The force applied by the blood on the walls of arteries during contraction is known as systolic blood pressure.
  3. During the resting stage (Relaxation), the force is relatively slow and is termed diastolic blood pressure.

Normal Blood pressure:

  1. The normal blood pressure of an adult human is 12080 mmHg.
  2. Here, 120 represents the systolic value and 80 represents the diastolic value.
