Conservation of electricity:

1. Electricity is an indispensable need of humans which is required in all aspects of life.
2. It is limited in amount, hence we need to conserve it.
3. The following are some steps we can take to save electricity in our homes:

1. Switch off all unnecessary lights.
2. Turn off fans when they aren't needed.
3. Make use of natural light whenever possible.
4. Make the best use of solar radiation.
5. Unplug any unused electronics.
6. Use solar water heating systems instead of electric heaters during the winter.
7. Fluorescent tubes or CFLs should be used instead of incandescent bulbs because they use less electricity.
