Solution

Convex mirror:

  1. Convex mirrors are used as rearview mirrors in automobiles.
  2. The image is always upright and fictitious.
  3. A convex mirror allows a driver to see a large portion of the traffic behind him.
  4. A convex mirror's image is much smaller than the thing itself. Because of this, convex mirrors are used as rearview mirrors in automobiles.

The drawback of the Convex mirror:

  1. The disadvantage of using convex mirrors as side mirrors is that they create the illusion that objects are further away than they actually are.
  2. This is why the mirrors are labelled "objects in mirror are closer than they appear."
