Precautions at the time of floods:

  1. Water is a good conductor of electricity and in floods, the electrical appliances can come in direct contact with water which may electrify water.
  2. Due to good conductivity of water the current flowing can cause electric shocks to the person who comes in contact with water.
  3. Also, the water can damage the electrical appliances.
