There were some strong kingdoms in northern India around 2500 years ago. Kashi, Kosala, Magadha, and the Republic of Vajjis were the four main Mahajanapadas in this region, and they were all competing against each other. , Magadha emerged victoriously and was able to gain sovereignty. It became the most powerful state in ancient India. Magadha is situated in modern Bihar. Jarasandha, who was a descendant of Brihadratha founded the empire in Magadha.
