Solution

Atmosphere:

  1. The atmosphere consists of various gases like oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and other gases in small fractions.
  2. All gas is required for the survival of organisms.

(a) Oxygen:

If oxygen gas is eliminated from the atmosphere then there will be no life, no plant and animal life will exist and burning will be impossible.

(b) Nitrogen:

  1. If Nitrogen gas vanishes then humans will be dehydrated quickly, which will also disturb the growth of plants and animals.
  2. Nitrogen is an essential nutrient for the production of amino acids, nucleic acids like DNA or RNA, and protein.

(c) Carbon dioxide: If carbon dioxide vanishes, then no photosynthesis occurs in plants, and for food, all organisms surviving on plants would die.
