• When two or more components area combined without undergoing any change in their chemical properties it forms a mixture.
• The mixture can be Homogeneous or Heterogeneous

Difference between Homogeneous and Heterogeneous mixture:

Homogeneous Mixture	Heterogeneous Mixture
The mixture where all the components are uniform in the composition is known as Homogeneous mixture	The mixture where all the components are different in nature and composition is known as a Heterogeneous mixture
The components in this are not physically distant.	The components in this are physically distant
This mixture appears to be combined and one phase	This mixture does not appear combined and appears different.
