Solution

Write algebraic expression of given statement and identify whether it is a monomial, binomial or trinomial.

An expression that contains only single term is known as monomial.

An expression that consist of two terms is known as binomial.

An expression that contains three terms is known as trinomial.

Now, quotient of x and 15 is,

x15

The quotient of xand 15 multiplied by x is,

x15×x=x215

Identify the above expression as monomial, binomial or trinomial.

The obtained expression consist of one term, so it is a monomial.

Therefore, the obtained expression is x215 and it is a monomial.
