Solution

Write algebraic expression of given statement and identify whether it is monomial, binomial or trinomial.

An expression that contains only single term is known as monomial.

An expression that consist of two terms is known as binomial.

An expression that contains three terms is known as trinomial.

The product of a and b,b and c and c and a is,

a×b=abb×c=bcc×a=ca

The sum of the products of a and b,b and c and c and a is,

ab+bc+ca

Identify the above expression as monomial, binomial or trinomial.

The obtained expression consist of three terms, so it is a trinomial.

Therefore, the obtained expression is ab+bc+ca and it is a trinomial.
