  2. We know that, angular velocity ω=vr(where, v is velocity, and r is radius).
  3. Thus, the moment of inertia I=rvL.
  4. The smaller the velocity v, the greater the inertia and when the inertia reduces to zero, the velocity becomes infinite. Hence if an object has greater inertia its velocity will be slow thus velocity does affect the inertia.
  5. The inherent speed of an object is dependent on inertia.

Therefore, we can say velocity affects inertia.
