Resistor:

  1. Resistors are a common component of electronics and nearly all electrical products. Look at the motherboard of your computer after taking it apart. Its surface is covered in resistors of different shapes and sizes.
  2. A piece of material that obstructs the flow of electricity is called a resistor. The voltage and current passing through a system are managed by resistors. Without resistors, the excessive voltage flowing through your devices could cause them to burn out or overheat.

Determine resistance:
