How to solve differentiation:

$\frac{dy}{dx}$ represent differentiation of $y$ w.r.t $x$

For example $y=x^2$ then

$$\begin{gathered} \frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{d}{dx}{x}^2 \\ \Rightarrow \frac{dy}{dx}=2x \end{gathered}$$

$\frac{dy}{dx}$ can also be written as $y\text{'}$this means differentiation of $y$ w.r.t $x$.

Hence, we can find dy /dx by using the method shown above.
