Question

What would happen if there was no gravity?

Open in App
Solution

If there was no gravity then:

  1. Our planet's gravity would be lost for only five seconds, which would spell the end of life on Earth as we know it.
  2. Gravity pushes objects against each other. The larger an object's gravitational attraction, the more massive it is.
  3. Humans and other objects will lose their weight if gravity is removed.
  4. If there was no gravity force, the atmosphere would vanish into space, the moon would crash with the planet, the world would stop spinning, we would all feel weightless, and the earth would merge with the sun.
  5. We'd all perish if it happened.
