Indigestion is also known as dyspepsia or upset stomach. Indigestion is a broad term that refers to upper abdominal or stomach discomfort and pain associated with food digestion complication.

Symptoms of indigestion:

  1. During a meal, you may experience early fullness: You haven't finished much of your meal yet, but you're already feeling full and may not be able to finish it.
  2. An uncomfortable feeling of fullness after eating: The sensation of being full lasts longer than it should.
  3. Upper abdominal discomfort: You are experiencing mild to severe pain between the bottom of your breastbone and your belly button.
  4. Upper abdominal burning: You have a burning or stinging sensation between the bottom of your breastbone and your belly button.
  5. Upper abdominal bloating: You have an uneasy feeling of tightness in your upper abdomen.
  6. Nausea: You have the urge to vomit.
