Bacteria :

  3. Another name is Eubacteria.
  4. They are found everywhere in soil, hot springs, earth’s crust, plant and animal bodies, organic matter and radioactive waste, etc.
  5. Types of bacteria are gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Archaea:

  1. Archaea are the most primitive single-celled microorganisms and live in extreme temperatures.
  2. Another name is called Archaebacteria.
  3. They are found in extreme temperatures such as springs, salt lakes, marshlands, oceans, the gut of ruminants, and humans.
  4. Types of archaea are methanogens, halophiles, and thermoacidophiles.
