3. Spermatids transform into sperms by undergoing some morphological changes.

Spermiation:

1. The sperms are attached to the Sertoli cells to get nourishment.
2. Later these sperms get released.
3. The process in which sperms embedded in Sertoli cells are released from the seminiferous tubules is known as spermiation.
