Chromosome

DNA is the chemical form which stores genetic information. The chromosome is the highest organized structure containing condensed DNA double helix along with histone proteins.
Made up of nucleotide monomers of four nitrogenous bases i.e. Guanine, Adenine, Cytosine, Thymine.Made up of DNA and histone proteins in eukaryotes and DNA plus non-histone proteins in prokaryotes.
Identification is done via gel electrophoresis.Identification is done via karyotyping or microscopy.
