Solution

Interphase nucleus:

  1. During the interphase stage, the cell is not engaged in cell division.
  2. It is the resting phase between two successive mitotic divisions.
  3. At interphase, the nuclear envelope consists of two membranes made up of lipid bilayers.
  4. The space between the inner nuclear membrane and the outer nuclear membrane is known as perinuclear space.
  5. It is about 10-50nm wide.
  6. It contains electron-dense and protein-rich secretions.
  7. It forms a barrier between the nucleus and cytoplasm.
