Gonadotrophins:

  1. LH ( Luteinizing hormone) and FSH ( follicle stimulating hormone) are called gonadotrophins.
  2. They stimulate gonadal activity.

Gonadotrophin releasing hormone ( GnRH):

  1. It is produced by the hypothalamus.
  2. It stimulates the synthesis and release of gonadotrophins ( LH and FSH ) in the pituitary gland.
