Solution
Lipids:
Any of a group of fatty acids or their derivatives that are soluble in organic solvents but insoluble in water are referred to as lipids.
It often consists of glycerol or fatty acid molecules, either alone or in combination with other kinds of biomolecules.
As a result of having both hydrophobic and hydrophilic components, many lipids are amphiphilic or amphipathic.
Examples of lipids include waxes, steroids, and natural oils.
