Renin secreted by the juxtaglomerular apparatus regulates the glomerular filtration rate by inducing multi-hormone system i.e. RAAS (Renin-Angiotensin- Aldosterone system). Activation of this system increases the reabsorption rate of sodium and water, making the urine more concentrated.
