Mass of solute i.e, for the sodium chloride =58.5g
Mass of solvent i.e, for the water=100g
Mass of solution=58.5+100=158.5g
The concentration of solution in terms of mass percentage is given as,
=MassofsoluteMassofsolution×100

=58.5158.5×100
