Given : m1=1kg T1=5oC m2=5kg T2=65oC
Let the equilibrium temperature and specific heat of water be T and S respectively.
Heat released by 5kg water at 65oC is completely absorbed by 1kg water at 5oC such that net exchange of heat between system and surrounding is zero.
m1S(TT1)+m2S(TT2)=0

OR 1×S(T5)+5×S(T65)=0
OR 6T=330 T=55oC
