(1) Photosynthesis is the methodology plants use to transform sunlight
into the nutrition needed to endure and grow. Most plants make
some form of sugar from the sun rays, and the plant employs this sugar as its direct food source.
(2) Plants require only three things to produce this sugar:
daylight, carbon dioxide, and water. The rays react with the
plant's chlorophyll, a green chemical that prepares sugar using the combination of H20 and C02
