2. The Amorphous forms of carbon are generally impure.
Say whether these statements are true.

Dear K. Navinkumar,

The crystalline form of C is pure because it represents diamond. Diamond is tetrahedral in structure and is pure.
While amorphous C is the term generally used for coal, soot etc which is impure.

Hence both the statements are true.
