• Volume is the amount of space that a substance or object occupies, or that is enclosed within a container.

• Magnitude simply means “how much”. In physics, we use many kinds of numbers, two of which are scalars and vectors. A scalar is a number that only has a magnitude or an amount.
• Density is a defined as mass per unit volume. density can be calculated with respect to length, area, as well as volume.

• Diffusion is the net movement of molecules or atoms from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration as a result of random motion of the molecules or atoms.
