100 ml of 1 M...
Question
100ml of 1M NaOH is mixed with 50ml of1N KOH solution . What is Normality of mixture?
Open in App
Solution
We konw that the equvalent normality of a solution is
NV=N1V1+N2V2
Normality(N) = Molarity(M) x number of equivalents
For both NaOH and KOH no.of equivalents =1
Net volume v= 100+50=150
150xN= 1x1(100) +50*1( Since normality of KOH is already goven in the question)
=>N= 150/150 = 1
