Solution

The correct option is C 7723
Given that group A has 10 children and
group B has 6 children

Given that average percent marks obtained by group A is 75

Therefore, 75100=sum of the marks obtained by group A10

sum of the marks obtained by group A=7.5 ------(1)

Given that average percent marks obtained by group A and B is 76

Therefore, 76100=sum of the marks obtained by group A and B16

sum of the marks obtained by group A and B=12.16 ------(2)

sum of the marks obtained by group B is 12.167.5=4.66

Therefore, the average percent marks obtained by group B is sum of the marks obtained by group B6×100

=4.666×100=7723
