Open in App
Solution

Solution -: let the number of original dolls=x
Number of dolls which are defective =20%
So we will have remaining dolls =80x/100
After then 25 %0f remaing were damaged
So we will have 75%of remaining were left out
It means number of left out dolls = (80*x/100)*(75/100)
=0.6x
Since we are given number of dolls left out =4800
it means we will equate both we got , 0.6x=4800
Or , x=4800/0.6
= 8000
So we got original number of dolls = 8000 Answer
