Here given that $20\%$ of the length of a flagpole is painted green, and $45\%$ is painted yellow

then, the remaining part = $100\%-(20\%+45\%)=35\%$

$\Rightarrow 35\%$ is painted red

So the length of red part is $35\%$ of $18m$$=18\times \frac{35}{100}=$$6.3m$

Hence part of flagpole painted red is $6.3m$
