No. of vibration in 1 sec=2010=2 1 vibration in=0.5 sec which is the time periodfrequency=no. of vibration produced in 1 sec frequency=2 Hz

You can produce a longitudinal wave in a slinky by displacing the first coil of the slinky in a direction parallel to the entire slinky.
