Given,
Petrol required to cover a distance of 66 km = 22 liters
Hence amount of petrol required to cover 1 km = 2266=13 liters of petrol.

Distance to be covered = 279 km.
Amount of petrol required =
= 13× 279 liters of petrol= 93 liters

Given that
Cost of 10 liters of petrol = ₹ 660
cost of 1 liter of petrol = 66010 = 66
Hence total amount spent on 93 liters of petrol =
= 93 ×66 = ₹6,138
