Given,
Petrol required to cover a distance of 66 km = 22 L

Hence, amount of petrol required to cover 1 km = 2266=13 L

Distance to be covered = 279 km
Amount of petrol required
= 13 × 279 L
= 93 L

Given,
Cost of 10 L of petrol = ₹ 660
Cost of 1 L of petrol = 66010 = 66

Hence, the total amount spent on 93 liters of petrol = 93 ×66 = ₹6,138
