1. Multiple cropping means the practice of growing two or more crops in the same piece of land in same growing seasons.
2. Use of normal seeds.
3. Improved irrigation facilities led to increase in production.

Modern farming:
1. It involves use of chemical fertilizers,pesticides, agriculture machinery and modern methods of irrigation.
2. Use of High Yielding Variety seeds.
3. Increase in production by using modern scientific methods.
