Can u pls explain this rule 2 :The outermost shell cannot have more than 8 electrons. The penultimate shell cannot have more than 18 electrons. A new shell is formed as soon as the outermost shell attains 8 electrons
Why atoms have only 2 electrons in its first shell and how do We know it?
According to Bohr's the third shell of atom contain 18 electron but in the whole chapter it is said that second and the above cell have only 8 electron capability.
How We can say that noble gases have 8 electrons in its outer shell?
