(4×(z+2))+(4×(2)) equals
4(z+4)
We know that, multiplying two numbers separately by 4 and then adding is same as multiplying the sum of two numbers by 4.
i.e., If x and y are any two numbers, then 4x+4y=4(x+y)
So, −(4×(z+2))+(4×(2))
=4×((z+2)+(2))
=4×(z+2+2)
=4×(z+4)=4(z+4)
