Given: A wall is built in 2 days by 5 masons.​

We know that lesser the number of days to build, more will be the number of masons required.​

So, Number of days 1Number of masons

Let number of days be ‘d’ and number of masons be ‘m’​

Then, d is inversely proportional to m​

Therefore,​

d1m1=d2m2

Given​

d1=2 days​

m1=5 masons​

d2=1 day​

m2= number of masons required​

2×5=1×m2

=m2=(2×5)1=10 masons​

Therefore, 10 masons should be employed to build a wall in a single day.​
